Meet Bella

4PAWSAdmin Pet of the Month Entries

1013Our story begins two years ago. My cat, Bella, was diagnosed with a bladder stone and needed surgery. After her surgery I was told she would be on a prescription wet food for the rest of her life. She did fine for a while, but then stopped eating the food. We had just moved from Chicago to Kansas City so I initially thought it was stress that caused her not to eat. I took her to the vet and they recommended she try raw food. I researched raw food prior to starting her transition. I learned that cats don’t need a ton of plant products in their food and was stunned to see lots of byproducts in her prescription food. I went to Four Paws Pantry and Spa for direction, since I had never worked with raw food. I was given samples and step-by-step instructions. The staff was so knowledgeable and helped me through the entire process. I slowly transitioned her and we have never gone back. She eats Primal food and nearly knocks me over when she knows I have her food nearby. She loves it that much! My family has even noticed a vast improvement in her. She seems to play more, be more outgoing, her coat has improved, and she just looks all around more healthy. It is completely worth it!
